Lisa Vanderpump Weighs in on the Most "Shocking" Part of Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss' Alleged Affair

Lisa Vanderpump is finally SUR-ving up her take on all the Scandoval drama.
The Vanderpump Rules boss revealed her brutally honest reaction to recent reports of costars Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss' alleged months-long affair.
"Gobsmacked, flabbergasted," Lisa said of her reaction to the news during a tell-all Watch What Happens Live interview on March 8. "I mean, literally, no words. I didn't see it coming. Nobody saw it coming."
The SUR owner noted she saw zero signs to suggest that Tom was supposedly cheating on girlfriend of nine years Ariana Madix. "Nothing at all," she stated. "And that's what I don't understand, is all the cast, I mean, when we're filming a show, we see everything and more."
Amid rumors that the affair has been going on since last year, host Andy Cohen asked Lisa if she thinks Tom, 39, and Raquel, 28, are truly in love. "I don't know, it's been going a long time," the restaurateur replied. "That's what's so shocking to me."
"I think they had a game plan," Lisa theorized. "I think it was to get through the reunion, then to let the bomb kind of drop. And if there was another season, then have a few weeks, a few months for people to get used to it. But just by the longevity, I don't know. I thought he was in love with Ariana, so maybe no."
Sharing that she's filmed scenes with Ariana for VPR season 10 following the scandal, Lisa shared how her co-star is doing after her breakup from Tom.
"Devastated," the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum explained. "A lot of tears. Ariana was always that ride-or-die girlfriend. It seems like Raquel was the ride girlfriend and she was the die girlfriend—not good."
While both Tom and Raquel have issued public statements apologizing to Ariana, Lisa thinks more atonement needs to be done.
"I don't think these apologies are worth the paper or the social media they are written on, I really don't," she shared. "I want to see true contrition. And I want hope that when the reunion comes, we actually all sit down and we can have a better understanding how this happened, why this happened and when this happened."
Vanderpump Rules airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
